DVS Vacuum
DVS Vacuum
Precision Vacuum Sorption Analyzer (DVS DVS Vacuum);
The DVS Vacuum is an instrument for precisely measuring how effectively various porous materials — such as zeolites, MOFs, COFs, and activated carbons — adsorb gases and water vapor.
What is DVS Vacuum?
The DVS Vacuum is a high-performance sorption analyzer designed for the precise analysis of water vapor and gas sorption behavior in porous materials under vacuum conditions.
It enables highly accurate measurement — under vacuum — of how efficiently diverse porous materials such as zeolites, MOFs, COFs, and activated carbons adsorb gases and water vapor, including the rate of sorption under varying conditions.
The instrument can measure the sorption of a wide range of gases, including water vapor, organic vapors (such as toluene), carbon dioxide (CO₂), and methane (CH₄), and is highly valuable for analyzing sorption kinetics, uptake capacity, isotherms, and desorption behavior.
The DVS Vacuum is widely used in research areas including energy materials, catalysts, and gas storage and separation, and is regarded as an essential tool for comparing and optimizing the performance of sorbent materials.
Applications
Pharmaceuticals — Moisture sorption behavior of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), stability, and storage condition optimization Battery / Energy Materials — Moisture sensitivity analysis of electrode and electrolyte materials, and stability evaluation of solid electrolytes Porous Materials (MOFs, Zeolites, Silica, and more) — Vapor sorption isotherms, specific surface area, and pore structure analysis Polymers and Composite Materials — Hygroscopic behavior, solvent sorption properties, and long-term stability evaluation Food and Biomaterials — Quality changes as a function of moisture content, and research on drying and storage conditions Fuel Cells / Catalysts — Reactivity with vapors and surface property analysis
