The Vapor Pressure Analyzer is an instrument designed to precisely measure vapor pressure. The instrument's key capability lies in measuring how materials respond when exposed to various vapor environments — including water vapor and organic solvent vapors — enabling the evaluation of sorption and desorption characteristics, moisture sensitivity, surface hydrophilicity/hydrophobicity, and pore structure.
Unlike traditional BET analysis instruments, the Vapor Pressure Analyzer uses an ultra-sensitive microbalance to measure sample mass changes in real time. By capturing the minute mass changes that occur as vapors or moisture are sorbed onto or desorbed from the sample surface, the instrument enables quantitative analysis of physical properties and chemical reactivity.
